I was finally asked to do a Halloween cake! Topsy turvy with chocolate and white cakes. It isn't exactly how I planned it but I think it turned out pretty cute. :)

Seven Cakes for One Bride!!!
That's right, I said seven cakes.
I wasn't 100% sure how I was going to pull this off but thanks to the help of my understanding husband handling dinner all week and my awesome friend Chelsea for the use of her fridge I was able to do it. :)
The fondant covered cakes are pina colada cake and filling while the chocolate covered cakes are all chocolate. (Mmm mmm mmm, so good!) I'm glad that everything turned out so well but I'm not sure I'll do this again. :)
The cost of this order was $344.24

Camo Cupcakes!
These are the camo cupcakes I made for our Girls Camp Awards Night. The theme was Camp M.A.S.H (army) so these were perfect!
They were easy to make but a little time consuming. I used white and chocolate cake plus a little green food coloring. Pretty cool huh?
I also used my new cake stands Uncle Zach gave me! Doesn't it look great!?
I love cupcakes!

Lace Cake!
Here is my latest! My cousin Nick just got married and I was so blessed to do his cake. The lovely bride (Sara) gave me two pictures to go on and I did my best.
This is a white cake with raspberry cream filling in the top and bottom tiers and lemon cream cheese filling in the middle. Frosted with almond flavored buttercream and covered in my homemade marshmallow fondant. I used more fondant for the flowers and royal icing for the extra details. I love the look of the white on ivory with just a touch of pink from the flowers. Lovely.
The pictures that Sara gave me were both cakes with a sort of lace detail on them and I did my best to give her what she wanted.
Did you happen to notice the absolutely beautiful cake stand under my cake? My very talented Uncle Zach (father of the groom) made it! He also made a smaller one and is letting me keep them!! It's like Christmas!

Paisley Wedding!
I just spent the last week at my parents in Lima Montana working on a huge wedding order! It was a lot of fun and stress but it turned out beautiful!
The cake was a 6,8 and 10'' round white cake with raspberry cream filling, vanilla buttercream and marshmallow fondant. The cake topper was hand made by the bride herself.
The cupcakes were also white cake with raspberry cream filling and vanilla buttercream colored red and teal. I topped the cupcakes with white paisleys decorated with copper royal icing. Some of them also had white edible pearls.
The cookies were just your regular sugar cookies cut into paisley shapes and topped with fondant in the wedding colors. These were my favorite! The cookie stayed soft and the fondant was so much better than frosting.
Everything turned out so pretty!
And tasty!
Congrats Scott and Shay! It was beautiful!

Red Velvet Cheese Cake Cake Pops!!!!!!!
These cake pops were for my sisters High School Graduation Dinner. Red velvet cake, cream cheese frosting and cheese cake centers. Covered in white chocolate and multi colored sprinkles.
Well, the kids approve. :)
Half of the cake pops were just plain red velvet covered in chocolate. Those were Garrett's favorite.

Samoa Cupcakes!!!
Sadly, I can't take full credit for these. I found them on Pinterest and just had to give them a try. I made them for grandpa's 80th birthday party and I can't wait to see what everyone thinks.
Can you keep a secret? I couldn't wait. I did, I ate one, but it was so good! I make no apologies. :)

To brighten your day!
I made these just for for fun using some leftover flowers I had from a past wedding cake. A friend of mine has been having a hard time lately and I thought these would brighten her day. :)

Ribbon Wrapped Cake!
This five tiered wedding cake is mostly styrofoam! Could you tell? No? Well that's the point. :)
Lets face it, at most weddings the only people who even taste the wedding cake are the bride and groom and after the reception some of it might be divided among family members but in the end most of it ends up in the trash. What a waste of money! By doing a dummy cake you still get the beautiful large cake of your dreams without the crazy price. I called around to get prices on this type of cake and all prices were between $500-$600!!! Sheesh. This cake of mine went for $235.00! Much better price tag, right? The bottom tier is white cake with raspberry filling, vanilla buttercream and marshmallow fondant.

Red, black and white!
I made this cake for an old friend of mine. She told me she wanted something different and fell in love with a picture I had that was similar to this one. I loved making this cake! It's so much fun and completely nontraditional. $160.00

To Infinity and Beyond!
Some very dear friends asked me to make a cake for their grandsons birthday. I was given the freedom to do anything I wanted! Pretty darn cute huh? It's a 12 and 8 inch round chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling, vanilla buttercream, and marshmallow fondant. I tried my hand at sculpting a Buzz out of fondant but it didn't turn out too great, so I bought a toy Buzz instead. :) I haven't heard what the birthday boy thought of it yet but the grandparents were very pleased. Happy Birthday Aston!
Cost: $66.82

Cupcakes in a jar!
I put together a pantry bridal shower for my sis-in-law this month and was trying to figure out a cute dessert to go along with the theme. I have seen a lot of things being made in jars lately and thought it would be cute to put cupcakes in them! Plus the jars went along with the pantry theme great. Here is what I came up with.
I made two flavors; Lemon cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting and black forrest. I thought they turned out super cute and everyone said they were yummy so I'll take that as a success! The only thing I'll do differently next time is use 8 oz jars instead of 12 oz.
