I was so excited when I got this order!

I have been wanting to do a cake with animal prints on it for over a year and thanks to an adorable little boys 2nd birthday I got my wish.

Unfortunately I can't take credit for the sweet animal figures. The mother of the birthday boy bought those from Etsy.

The top tier was chocolate cake with chocolate filling and the bottom tier was 'zebra' made from chocolate and white cake. I promise to post a picture of the inside as soon as I get it.

I am in love with this cake!

Heather's Wedding!

Well, this made me feel old. One of the kids I use to babysit is now a married woman. Yeah, I know, who would have thought that I was that old right? (Sigh) At least I was able to be a part of it by making her wedding cake!

Once again the bride wanted a fancy cake without the fancy cost. We did two dummy tiers and one real for the bride and groom to enjoy.

The colors were navy blue, royal purple and silver.

At first I wasn't sure about those colors but they really came together beautifully.

 

I'm so proud of how this cake turned out!
